Smriti Solanki founded her studio in 2020 with a singular belief: that an interior is only as alive as the thinking behind it. Trained in the formal rigors of architectural design, her practice sits at the intersection of spatial logic and sensory instinct.

Over the past six years, Smriti has brought her practice to projects across India and the Gulf, each one a study in restraint, material intelligence, and the kind of detail that only reveals itself over time. Her commissions are few and considered, each one treated as a private collaboration. Based in India and working internationally, the studio brings a distinctly Indian sensibility to global work, an understanding of light, climate, and craft traditions that ground even the most contemporary spaces in something felt rather than merely seen.

Discovery & Dialogue
Before any design begins, we listen. We meet sometimes more than once to understand the way you inhabit space, what you value, what you've always wished a room could feel like. This is not a brief-taking exercise. It is the most important conversation of the project.
Spatial Concept
We develop a singular spatial idea that governs every decision that follows. Not a mood board of references, but a concept a way of thinking about light, sequence, and material that is specific to your project and no other.
Design Development
Plans, sections, material studies, and detail drawings are developed with precision. We test ideas at full scale when necessary. Nothing is left to assumption. Every corner, every junction, every reveal is drawn and considered before it is built.
Delivery & Handover
We are present on site throughout. Not to supervise from a distance, but to make decisions at the moment they are needed when the stone arrives, when the joiner needs guidance, when the light shifts in a way that requires a recalibration. The project ends when it is truly finished.
